Martin holds a degree in business and law and is qualified to practice as a lawyer in several jurisdictions. Having practiced for many years with Eversheds (one of the largest international law firms in the World) and a number of London law firms, Martin has completed international transactions with an aggregate value in excess of USD $10bn. He has vast experience in the areas of business start-ups, corporate finance, banking, investment, intellectual property, fund raising, mergers and acquisitions, syndicated investment structures, tax structuring, and general corporate and commercial transactions. He is also an expert in legal document automation and has been invited to speak on the topic by a number of companies including Thompson Reuters.
Thomas O’Donoghue, Academic, Author & CTO
Thomas holds three MSc degrees from leading international universities in the areas of business and information technology. In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, Thomas has more than 18 years’ experience of software development and of building world class information technology teams, particularly for start-up technology companies. He also has noted expertise in the areas of internet start-ups and product development; and regularly speaks on these and other related topics.
Kim Simmonds, Commercial & IP Lawyer
Having trained and worked at Shearman & Sterling LLP in New York City and more recently in London, Kim undertakes a full range of corporate and commercial work with a specific emphasis on intellectual property, technology, e-commerce and gaming matters. Kim acts for clients ranging from start-ups to larger private and public companies in sectors ranging from financial services and technology to transport and retail.

Dr. Chris Mc Dermott is an Attorney-at-Law and a Lecturer at Law specializing in family Law. He holds degrees from the National University of Ireland the University of Edinburgh.
Gregory Kennedy, Corporate Lawyer & Author
After graduating from Georgetown University Law School, Gregory practiced corporate and securities law at the international firms of Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison in the Silicon Valley. During his tenure at those firms, he represented clients in all aspects of their business, from the start-up phase through venture capital financing and on to becoming and operating as a public company. After leaving law firm practice, Gregory became the General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Business Development at an international, publicly traded software company which acquired, developed and grew subsidiaries in many locations throughout the United States and in foreign countries. Gregory has written on starting a new business and many aspects thereof, including writing a business plan, financing a business, and protecting and exploiting intellectual property.
Karen Brady, Estate Planning Lawyer & Author
Karen practices in the areas of estate planning, business planning and business succession planning and is the principal attorney at Karen Brady & Associates in Colorado (www.coloradolegacyplanning.com). Karen has written several publications (including Estate Planning and Taxation in Colorado). She is also a frequent guest lecturer for various organizations. Karen is a former board member of the Women’s Estate Planning Council and a current board member of the Colorado Estate Planning Education Council.
