A Notice of Revocation of a Power of Attorney is used to terminate the authority granted to an agent under an earlier Power of Attorney.
A Notice of Revocation of a Power of Attorney is used to terminate an existing power of attorney for property and finance or an existing power of attorney for healthcare. In the absence of properly revoking an existing power of attorney, your agent may be able to make financial and/or medical decisions on your behalf and to bind you to those decisions.
This Notice of Revocation of a Power of Attorney can be used by someone who has previously made a power of attorney.
This Notice of Revocation is a downloadable form. It comes complete with guidance instructions on how to fill in the form.
If you are not completely familiar with Revocable Living Trusts, we recommend that you purchase our book entitled “Make Your Own Living Trust and Avoid Probate”. This book not only contains all the forms you will need to make your own living trust but also gives you a detailed explanation of living trusts and how they work.
